Ground Beams & Piled Raft

Ground beams come in many shapes and sizes. Our trusted team of engineers will design any size beam to cater for the job. It all starts with excavating the ground to the proposed depth from finished floor level. Then we install cell-core leading to the installation of reinforced steel in a beam form, made on-site by our skilled steel fixers.  Then we pour concrete which finishes this stage of the job.  

 

Rafts. This is a different option when the ground conditions offer the raft to cater for better bearing capacity and suitable settlement characteristics. It’s the same process of the ground beam without a void to separate the installation from finished floor and ground level.

Piled Ground Beams

To start with our ground beams, we excavate the ground beams, which we have many machines to cater for all jobs. Then to our skilled team of steel fixers that install Celcore to the bottom of beams then progress forward to install on-site fabricated steel beams to our or the client’s engineers’ drawings. This is then dressed with clay master at the internal of all external ground beams. Onwards to the final stage of the process. The poor, we only use the highest quality of concrete to finish the job to a level of which we determine to each site dependent of finish floor level. This then leaves you with a solid base to work off to progress with your build.
